Learning Communities and University Housing for 2023

Residential Learning Community (RLC) students are required to complete the online Colorado State University Housing application at www.myhousing.colostate.edu no later than June 16, 2023. A completed Housing application is required in order to be eligible to live on campus. Completing the Housing application by June 16th allows students to have access to select a room within their RLC Residence Hall during the RLC room selection process June 19th-June 23rd. Students who do not participate in the room selection process during the designated RLC selection timeline June 19th-June 23rd are not guaranteed space in their designated community hall.

Residential Learning Community students who choose to utilize the University Housing roommate selection process as a part of the Housing application must select a roommate from their RLC group. If a student selects a roommate who is not in the same RLC, their participation in the RLC may be impacted.

Additional information from your individual RLC will be sent to students regarding any orientation dates and other requirements.

If you have specific questions about your residence hall application, please contact University Housing at (970) 491-4719 or housing@colostate.edu.

Community Options

Colorado State University offers a variety of options for students. All Learning Communities have a strong focus on academics, whether accomplished through the connection to an Academic College or Department, or co-enrolling in academic courses together. We encourage you to take time to look through all the options and determine the one that is the best match for you. Most of the Learning Communities have individual websites where you can explore and learn more about each community.
